Electronic, mechanic or system calibration and test engineering
Control software verification of embedded engine and transmission control units for military applications
Will be closely dealing with model based control software design/verification/validation for real time governing, control and safety functions
Senior engineer with experience in automotive engine control/test/verification systems
ETAS LABCAR, dSpace experience is a plus
Electronic hardware, MATLAB/simulink, ANSI C knowledge is required.
Seniority Level:
Mid/Senior Level Experience is a MUST
Position requirements:
BSc or MSc in electrical and/or electronics engineering
Candidates are required to have fundamental knowledge in the following topics:
Analog, digital and power electronics
Circuit debugging and analysis techniques
EMC/EMI techniques
Strong self-motivation to complete assigned tasks in scheduled time. Good communication abilities to work within multidisciplinary engineering environment. Good spoken and written English language skills
Responsibilities:
Perform board-level hardware design, verification, development and related issues
Participate validation of board level functionality with software team
Collaborate with hardware & test team to develop verification test plan according to the requirements
Supporting system-level design steps
Aligning with customers and cooperation with subcontractors to complete hardware product life-cycle
Developing DFT strategy and supporting ongoing design works
Preparing design validation documents and technical reports
Supporting HW reliability studies as well as FMEA/FMECA analyses
Skills considered as a plus:
Several years of working experience in designing and verifying automotive electronics
Experience in designing schematic capture and PCB layout using Altium designer
Knowledge of spice-based circuits analysis techniques using special tools like LTspice
Failure and Root cause analysis skills for analog and digital circuit modules
Solid understanding of related EMC/EMI regulations
Familiarity with military standards MIL-STD-454, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-810
Strong knowledge of 32-bit microcontrollers including peripherals (SPI, I2C, CAN ..) and interfacing techniques
Basic knowledge of microcontroller programming in C
